inally come to say goodbye to the most beloved hatchback of Pakistan Suzuki Mehran since 1988. It has been a very long journey as the car has been the most affordable, reliable and with low maintenance cost in Pakistan it has been the apple of the eye of millions.
Reports say that the Suzuki has decided to launch the 660cc model of Alto to replace the 800cc Mehran. Although the new model of Alto is expected to launch in 2018, so till that time the Mehran will stay in the market. It is worth mentioning that the new model of Alto 660cc would be a welcome change as the new model shall be more fuel efficient, spacious and good looking from the current ordinary looking Mehran.
As per the report Suzuki shall start making the parts in 2017 and further assembling will start in 2018. The reports also confirms that the Cultus is also going to be replaced with the successful model of Celerio in coming days. Suzuki Pakistan also intends to launch a 1300 Sedan. Although they already have a Sedan named Liana which replaced the Baleno, it could be a new Baleno?
